New York Mets Kevin Burkhardt & Pine Belt Nissan

Pine Belt Nissan Spokesperson is a fast rising star in the world of sports broadcasting

Tune in to any New York Mets game on television and it won’t be long before you see New Jersey native, Kevin Burkhardt roving the stands, speaking with celebrities and politicians in attendance, interviewing players and managers, mixing it up on air with former Met greats and announcers, Keith Hernandez & Ron Darling, or just giving his own unique spin on the game.

He has been known to host and guest on many baseball and football themed shows on the SNY network. He is the voice of the Dallas Cowboys on their radio network. Nearly 30,000 sports fans follow his frequent posts on Twitter.  During baseball season, every day he is quoted or referenced in the sports section of just about every major New York dally newspaper… With a recent full article written just about his expanding role on television appearing in the New York Post.

During Burkhardt’s tenure as the Mets field reporter, there have been many stories told of his pre-broadcasting “training”.  To hone his future kills, throughout his teens, Kevin would call games and produce his own postage shows while playing baseball video games at home.  There was only one brief stint when Burkhardt ever abandoned his broadcasting career path… And that was to sell cars for the Pine Belt Automotive family of dealerships.   In those seven months away from the microphone, Kevin used his gift of speech and outgoing personality to do well for himself in the car business, but soon longed to return to his chosen profession.   Lucky for Pine Belt, Burkhardt forged a long-standing bond with the organization and many of it’s core people during that short time, and in the past few years, has returned to the fold as the official Spokesperson for Pine Belt NIssan.

Now, all over the airwaves, Kevin Burkhardt’s increasingly recognizable voice and face can be heard and seen in many of Pine Belt’s radio and television advertisements… And Pine Belt Nissan could not think of a better representative and friend to help spread the word about the of the Power of Pine Belt!

Dynamic new concept bursting with technical innovation introduces the company’s next generation mainstream B-segment contender

  • INVITATION concept underlines Nissan’s commitment to compact car segment
  • An inspiration for Nissan’s forthcoming new offering in the compact hatchback segment in Europe, to join Micra and Juke
  • Concept combines dynamic design, packaging and well balanced performance to appeal to sophisticated European consumers
  • Technology includes advanced safety features as well as strong fuel economy and low emissions

Nissan has revealed the first details of a head-turning hatchback concept which previews the company’s next generation compact car, a mainstream B-segment contender to be sold alongside the Micra city car and innovative JUKE B-segment crossover in Europe.

Called INVITATION, the dynamic concept – which will be unveiled at this year’s Geneva International Motor Show (8-18 March) – shows some of the innovation and excitement promised for the new model, which is due to be launched in Europe from 2013.

Design dynamism

INVITATION is an energetic design, bringing fresh style, innovation and excitement to the mainstream market. The clean fluidity of the silhouette hints at its dynamic potential and showcases class-leading aerodynamics for enhanced efficiency.

The side of the car is dominated by a distinctive character line, known internally as the ‘Squash Line’, which adds a powerful dynamism to its profile with distinctive sculpted front and rear wings giving INVITATION a confident stance.

Inside, a refreshingly open cabin combines practicality and modernity with impressive levels of quality and purposeful technology features.

François Bancon, Deputy Division General Manager of Product Strategy and Product Planning Division, said: “The name we have given to this concept is self-explanatory… the key benefit of this compact car is to be inviting.

“It is inviting thanks to its sensuous exterior design and generous and comfortable interior space, cleverly packaged within compact overall dimensions. It is Nissan’s invitation to buyers in the compact hatchback segment.”

Class-leading performance and efficiency
Combining advanced engine technology, Nissan’s acclaimed lightweight platform and an aerodynamically efficient body mean INVITATION achieves class-leading levels of fuel efficiency and emissions. Nissan is aiming for an ultra-low CO2 emission target of under 100g/km for the best model and with all versions eligible to wear Nissan’s Pure Drive badge.

At the same time, responsive agile handling will ensure that when it comes to driving dynamics, INVITATION will compete with the top performers in the segment.

Advanced safety technology

But INVITATION is more than just a great looking car that’s fun and frugal to drive. The concept packs some of the most advanced technology ever seen in the B-segment, all of which is designed to ensure the car is as safe as possible.

Among the features is Nissan’s advanced Around View Monitor (AVM) safety technology – seen for the first time on a B segment car – which makes reversing and parallel parking as stress-free as possible. In addition, INVITATION also incorporates Nissan Safety Shield Technologies, which interact with the driving environment keeping the driver aware of what is happening around the car.

Conclusion
INVITATION’s combination of energetic exterior style, thoughtful interior, advanced safety features and class-leading emissions, fuel economy and dynamic performance demonstrates Nissan’s commitment to offering innovation and excitement to all car buyers, no matter what type of car they are looking to buy.

2012 Pine Belt Nissan Rogue – Your Red Bank to Edison Nissan Rouge Dealer

2012 Nissan Rogue Adds New Special Edition Trim, Around View® Monitor and New Wheel Designs

– Versatile Compact SUV Remains One of Nissan’s Most Popular Models –

“Rogue remains a fresh, exciting no-compromise alternative to traditional sedans, minivans and small utility vehicles,” said Castignetti. “It provides the answer to a wide variety of vehicle needs, with the enhanced value and fun today’s buyers are looking for.”

Following an upgraded look for the 2011 model year, the Nissan Rogue crossover SUV adds a new Special Edition for 2012, along with revised content for the various option packages. Rogue once again offers excellent value, while satisfying both the functional needs of the buyers and their emotional needs – which has made Rogue one of the best-selling vehicles in the Nissan lineup.
The new high-value Special Edition includes steering wheel audio controls, RearView Monitor, 4.3-inch audio display, USB connectivity, satellite radio, fog lights and privacy glass. Other enhancements for 2012 include the addition of a new “Sport Mode” switch on all models, new 17-inch (SV) and 16-inch (Special Edition) aluminum-alloy wheels, and one new exterior color, Graphite Blue. Also, the SL Package adds the innovative Around View® Monitor.

“The 2012 Rogue is the first non-luxury vehicle in the United States to offer the unique, Around View® Monitor feature, which utilizes four small superwide-angle cameras – mounted on the front, side and rear of the vehicle – to provide a virtual 360° view of objects around the vehicle, helping to maneuver it in tight spots,” said Al Castignetti, vice president and general manager, Nissan Division, Nissan North America, Inc. “It’s another example of our philosophy of ‘Innovation for All,’ not just for the most expensive vehicles in our lineup.”

The 2012 Rogue is offered in two trims, S and SV – both equipped with a standard 170-horsepower 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and advanced Xtronic CVT® (Continuously Variable Transmission). Three option packages are also available – Special Edition, Premium Package and SL Package. And, all 2012 Rogue models are available in all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive configurations.

Modern Exterior, Driver-Oriented Interior
Rogue’s exterior is designed to present an image of modern sophistication. Its dramatic styling includes dynamically arched forms and powerful rear shoulder lines, enhancing both its sporty feel while providing an upscale, grown-up style in a category full of toy-like compact SUVs.

Rogue features available Xenon headlights, available power sliding glass moonroof with dark gray glass, and available roof rails (detachable crossbars are offered as an accessory). Chrome door handles, body-color bumpers, rear liftgate with fixed glass and power sideview mirrors are standard. The body also features large front door openings for easy ingress and egress. The new Special Edition includes front fog lights, privacy glass and unique 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels.

Every Rogue is built on Nissan’s proven “C” platform, which provides high body stiffness with extensive use of high-strength steel utilized to help reduce body weight. Rogue features a 105.9-inch wheelbase and 183.3-inch overall length – among the longest in class, compared with leading small crossover competitors – providing ample rear seat proportions and one of the longest interior lengths in class.

Rogue’s interior is designed to satisfy both the functional needs of the buyers and their emotional needs – including the versatility provided by a large 57.9 cubic feet of cargo space (with 2nd row seat folded down). The interior includes a driver-oriented cockpit, available leather-appointed seating surfaces and 6-way power driver’s seat. Heated front seats and mirrors are also available, along with a fold-down front passenger seat (standard on SV) – which allows more than 8.5 feet of front-to-rear cargo space for carrying long items such as wood or ladders. A rear 60/40 split-fold bench seat, oversize glove compartment, and versatile center console all contribute to Rogue’s impressive functionality.

Utility is enhanced by numerous convenient storage and ultra-functionality features, including an oversized glove compartment, a large center console and a washable, removable tray that fits below the cargo area floor to hold wet or dirty gear and tools. Rogue’s everyday utility features also include a variety of cupholders, memo/pen holder, coin holder and cell phone/sunglass holders.

Pine Belt Nissan Leaf – www.PineBeltAuto.com – 1st Nissan Leaf Customer. Your Red Bank to Edison Nissan Dealer.

In June 2011, under beautiful blue Colorado skies at the 89th running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, veteran Nissan off-road truck racing champion Chad Hord, and the 100 percent electric Nissan LEAF, made history as the first winners of the Electric Production Class.

Under very different weather conditions, with the forecast predicting eight- to ten-inches of snow in the Denver area, the Nissan LEAF made history again on Dec. 22. Derek Passarelli, an attorney with the Department of Energy’s Colorado field office, purchased a Nissan LEAF at family-owned Empire-Lakewood Nissan, commemorating the first sale of the vehicle in the state of Colorado.

“I’m buying the Nissan LEAF because I would like to walk-the-talk for what I do at work, and I believe in this,” said Passarelli.

Today, after a year on the market, more than 10,000 Nissan LEAFs are on the road in the United States. Most sales have taken place in the first seven launch states (Arizona, California, Hawaii, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington) but interest from consumers has been national. Nissan recently began taking orders in additional markets – 30 states in all and the LEAF will be available nationally by summer 2012.

Another Happy Customer Leaves Pine Belt Nissan in Toms River

Pine Belt Nissan’s #1 concern is treating each and every customer as if they were our own family member. Here is another happy customer that left Pine Belt Nissan in Toms River!!

Went to Pine Belt while shopping around for a new car, from the moment I stepped into the dealership and was met by Jim Ansbach I almost immediately felt at ease, his introduction and no pressure manner made for a terrific experiance, even though I told him i was “just Looking” he never treated as a person wasting his time like I felt at some other dealerships in Toms River, he showed my options and different styles of cars and really gave me all of my options and before I knew it we were shaking hands on a deal, I love my new Rogue and got what I felt was a really fair price. I would reccommend Pine Belt and namely Jim to anyone and everyone I know. Thanks Jim for your advise, humor and patience with me, you are a credit to your employers and I hope they know that, If not tell me to ask your customers.
